High Definition Television is commonly referred to as HD TV and it is the latest advancement in the television industry. This is 10 times the details and sharpness as you get with a traditional TV set. There are three distinct broadcasting formats use in HD television. There is the 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. Each of these formats works well for HD scanning.
The audio of HD television is better than any other type of television. There are 5.1 channels of CD quality surround sound. Since the sounds are coming from different areas with different frequencies you can pick up on distinct sounds. These different frequencies are called ghost images.
